We were talking about housing last week and such. Todays report by the National Association of Realtors indicates sales of existing homes dropped .4%. Buried deeper in the report there is this,
<<Housing inventory levels at the end of February stood at 1.54 million existing homes available for sale, which represents a 3.6-month supply at the current sales pace. Inventory levels are 27.3 percent above the 1.21 million homes available in February 2000.>>
Looks like we have more people trying to sell homes and fewer people wanting to buy them at a time when 30 mortgages are near a 30 year low. I'd say the real estate bubble is about done.
