I have rushed back to you and what do I find? That you are leaving on a silly old business trip! Do you really expect me to believe that your company is making you do this? That they wouldn't understand if you told them you had more important things to do than negotiate their ridiculous deals and contracts? That your cyberdomitrix demands your presence at her side? That they already interfere to a ridiculous extent with your online life and further encroachment cannot be tolerated?

And you expect me to believe your piteous mewling about having to endure the vocalise of Oriental Sinatra wannabes when you have regaled us with fervid minute details of the billing practices of Far Eastern hotels re: women of the night? With your descriptions of resplendent five-star accomodations and an awesome in-depth knowledge of the local gourmet cuisine? Your attempts to provoke guilt and pity in me are laughable! I scoff. HA!

All I can say is there better be a very large sapphire on my screen next Monday.
And I never wear ruffles.
