Chaz, it is slander indeed, and QUALCOMM should notify not only Nokia but the Federal Trade Commission about false advertising. A deliberate falsity about a company product can lead to a nice lawsuit that could also include a claim for punitive damages. Nokia ought to be warned in no uncertain terms. On the other hand, I believe QUALCOMM's recent white paper comparing the costs of various upgrades speaks volumes, and companies faced with steep capital investments for a poorly performing, expensive upgrade that lacks the features of CDMA2000 will think twice before caving in to Nokia's propaganda.
