I think ECRI is working closely with the fed now to manage the news. Sorry if i sound to conspiratorial: but I aint buying it: we do want fear of a recssion though: it will cause bonds to fly and stocks to fall and provide a good tradeable mid term bottom.
But look at long bonds: hardly making the case for a recession here: the Jan 3 intraday high on t- bill futures has not been surpassed.
