Jesus, preached for only 3 1/2 years yet influenced the world far greater than Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, Confuscious and some of the others combined.
Only 3 years Chris ? It doesn't seem to ever
be of any importance to you that this Son of God waits
until he is 30yrs old to manifest himself?
You would think that being the son of the Father
he would have long before done something
that would have distinguished himself
from so many others around him ...
Apparently the people that made up and assembled
these stories so much later on ,
couldn't conceive of any miracles, actions , thoughts
or deeds
that a 13year old boy , or 20 year old young man
could do to set himself apart or indicate
his divine calling.
Given that he was the Son of God
I would think that very strange...
He then appears from out of nowhere
at 30yrs old ,recieves his calling
by partaking in a Hindu ritual of bathing
in the river Jordan , soon after has one of
his new disciples walks upon the water , cures
a leper , gives a Sermon on the Mountain...
All these things already known and told before,
& famous for over 2-4 centuries of
Lord Buddha, who was known as the
savior & light of the world
all starting 500 yrs before...
" He set the world on fire after his death by sending The Holy Ghost in his stead. The power of the Holy Ghost turned his disciples from fishers of fish into bold fishers of men. Illiterate in a literate world they changed the course of history. "
Only three years time Chris ?
This is hardly long enough
time to gather , let alone fully teach the
subtleties of heaven & spirituality
to common men . It is just not believable.
Theologically inserting the Holy Ghost so much later on
by priests to explain
such a narrative's ending , only furthers anyone's doubts
that this is anything other than an embellished
and composed narrative/myth/legend ,
based on so much hearsay and whisperings .
* But many people do fall in love with a book of
poetry , or have their lives changed by a wonderful
fictional narrative , by falling in love with
a lead character and trying to emulate his wondrous
deeds...it happens all the time .
