Geez, bia.....I must have struck a nerve....no need to get semi-personal...

All politicians lie to elected. All politicians hedge on their promises once elected. Let's not act like W. is any different from Clinton or the rest. I'm not going to get into specific issues.....we could debate those for years...

As far as brains, W. is not a rocket scientist, but he is not stupid either. In fact, the "brain" Gore actually made worse grades in undergrad, and dropped out of grad school (with poor grades)...Bush's got a Harvard MBA, and a Air Force pilot....Sure, Bush is linguistically challenged (but I'll chalk that up to spending a decade in the oil fields, and too much time in the South...also, his Dad was know to make up a few words in his day), and is not a deep thinker (intellectual), but he is definently not stupid....

To be an effective President, you do not necessarily have to be the brightest bulb. Same goes for business. Just got to understand what you can do well, and go hire others who can do what you can't...Bush seems to understand that. Also, like it or not, Americans like their President personable. Bush is good at that.

BTW- I am not a Republican.
