New Haven police and other key players in the case are planning to hold a news conference tomorrow afternoon. News channel 8 has learned the announcement will be about increasing reward money for information leading to an arrest. Police found Jovin stabbed to death in December, 1998. Her murder has never been solved. There is currently a $50,000 reward being offered by the state. The only suspect ever named by police is former Yale professor James Van de Velde. Van de Velde has never been charged in the case. wtnh.com
