I would guess that AMD's own engineers will be optimizing the Hammer and Fab30 to each other, even with Fab30 using IBM's SOI technology. The real volume will be with Thoroughbred. My guess is that AMD is preparing for the potential that they may need foundry services to meet demand for Thoroughbred. Thoroughbred will not use SOI.
