CSCO is just telling things as they are. I believe these CEOs (Cisco, Sun, HP) when they say that the economy will be bad for another year. I think they know better than those Fed officials. If the economy recovers in 12 months, then the stock market will recover in 6 months. So I think it's safer to buy tech in a big way in October, 2001. By then, the Nasdaq bear market will have lasted 19 months, long enough already.
