Tip:

In the last depression, there were stocks that did well...... defense/military, infrastructure and surprisingly, gambling. The defense stocks have already become pricey, but the other two are still relatively benign. Aside from gold, I am suggesting to my pals that they have a look at some of these as the spiral intensifies.

That said, the serious dough will be made on the short side over the next year or two. Fortunately, shorting is distasteful to most investors. (g)
