I think you mean Condoleezza Rice, who entered Stanford at the age of 15 and is an accomplished concert pianist. I don't recall her saying we should withdraw from NATO. I think its a terrific idea, but I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't call taking a step back from Clinton's hyperactivity as isolationism.

Regarding North Korea, Bush told them he will not continue to negotiate missile agreements, a positive development. Another positive thing Bush did was to remove the CIA as a broker between the Israelis and Palestinians in their negotiations. What were they doing there anyway? And another active step Bush has taken that Clinton refused to touch is he has opened lines of communication with the Chechen resistance.
