The prospect does not bother me at all.

I cannot fathom being indifferent to the prospect of all that you loved, all that you strove for, end in dust and ashes. I can see being pierced with poignancy, and holding things more dear, if more sorrowfully, in that knowledge. I can see trying not to think about it because it is considered "morbid". But claiming indifference makes little sense to me, it is like confessing you don't really care about what happens to them........
