I know, because I'm a photographer and the best cameras are German/Swiss or Japanese, how the dollar suffered against those two currencies in the past. I graduated college in the seventies, yikes. You had to be careful to update your replacement cost insurance on your Hasselblad every three months or you suffered getting screwed on the exchange rate if it got stolen.

So where is the dollar in the scheme of things, not as inflationary as the Italian lira but more inflationary than the mark?
