FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2001--
Magicinc.com (OTCBB:MAGC), today, unveiled plans for a mega network
launch party at the height of Spring Break in downtown Fort
Lauderdale.
Magicinc.com's interactive nightclub division, Cybars.com, has
reached an agreement with the owners of Tarpon Bend nightclub, with
its prime storefront, located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale's
hottest nightclub district. It is expected that the street traffic
will exceed 75,000 locals and tourists. Cybar(R) cameras will be
present in the club's kiosk or interactive "cybooth", a wide club
interior, as well as a one of its kind Cybar(R) streetcam that will
afford the Internet user a complete picture of the pinnacle night life
of Fort Lauderdale.
Plans for the launch include a press conference with the leading
news publications, including the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel and City
Link magazine with a demographic reach of over 300,000 subscribers.
Other representatives of the press scheduled to attend include
representatives of Deco Drive, a major South Florida
entertainment-based primetime television news program on WSVN,
Channel 7. Numerous other sponsors have agreed to participate in the
launch.
Cybars.com has entered into an agreement with Cheryl Depew, (Miss
Hawaiian Tropic, MTV Singled Out) to host the event with live
interviews. The Cybars(R) advertising broadcast will be featured on
monitors in the club as well as on a wide screen display in the
street.
Over 50 radio spots will accompany the launch on Y-100, South
Florida's premier radio station, with over 100,000 listeners,
targeting potential subscribers to the network.
Cybars.com also revealed its special launch offer of more than
$100 in complimentary 2 for 1-drink specials, for the low price of
$9.95 per month, which includes unlimited access to the network and
its 10 Fort Lauderdale nightclubs. The Cybars(R) business model calls
for a 10-club pod or Cypod to generate a total of 10,000 subscribers
through its planned media campaign strategy in the Fort Lauderdale
region with an ADI (area of dominant influence) of over 1,500,000
people.
