I don't have enough information about your situation to make anything other than a stab in the dark ... .. that the computer upgrade from 300 to 1000 should show a VAST difference of faaaaaaaster ... don't know enough about ME to make a call there, but doubt if it is slower than 98 ... that lessening of RAM from 256 to 128 will make a diff, but NOT very much .. now from 128 to 32 === that would make a big dif .. but 128 is adequate for most apps .... try this ... it will give you your connection speed msn.zdnet.com where I'm guessimg your difficulty is happening .....
