Thanks, Nadine. I can't seem to get that message across to some of our conservative friends on this board. They will not admit that luck has some influence on success. I believe it is because if they did, that would be admitting that that mantra of "pulling yourself up by your bootstraps" invalid. They would have to admit that there are people out there who work hard and, through no fault of their own, are NOT as successful as they would like to be. Trapped in difficult, low paying jobs, without a means of getting themselves out. If THAT were true, the whole conservative platform practically disintegrates.
