Continuing weakness in the networking infrastructure market has led networking giant Cisco Systems to halt component ordering, particularly impacting two programmable logic suppliers, according to an analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC.

“We believe Cisco has stopped ordering components altogether while orders from other key customers including Nortel, Lucent, and EMC are likely severely diminished as well,” said TWP analyst Eric Ross, San Francisco. ..."
