I guess the folks that feel personal morality is the 1st consideration in a President, loved Jimmy Carter. And they hated John Kennedy. Then there are the morality issues with Dick Nixon, from the Watergate mess to the colorful language he used on a regular basis. Must hate that guy. I'm not the one to do it, but I'm sure there is a history buff who could relate all our former President's indiscretions.

I think it's time we form a Morality Party, forget the economy and world politics. A thoughtful person might ask if ignoring global warming, with the possible dire effects for coming generations, is more or less moral than Mr. Clinton's personal behavior. They might ask if spoiling a wilderness area is a more serious moral offense.

Morality is in the eye of the beholder, it really has no place in politics, which can be the most immoral activity of them all. The point that I'm trying to make is that you can argue the mans record on what he was elected to do. But if you get into the morality morass, you've got such a subjective argument it will go on forever.
