You are not a burden until you get Federal leverage to subsidize the "deregulated" system. The state has to push for secession not the other 49.

"Then woo them to your state and offer them good reliable power. We didnt invite them here in the first place. they chose to be here. And they can choose to leave as well."

Texas grows every day from the departure from Ca., our power is reliable, plentiful, and growing despite a surplus supply, our taxes are some of the lowest. North Dallas and Austin have some substantial growth patterns. They are welcome here and mansions here cost $65-85/sqft.
