Where there is smoke, there is broadband recession problems
somewhere.

Some sell their engineers up the Ericsson river and
fight it out in court, others just lay off some 12,000
innocent ones while also cloning the dolly-management.

-----

The broadband market has lately experienced changes, especially in
the U.S., and we want to proactively develop our mode of operation
to adapt to the new market conditions and increased competition,"
said Olli Oittinen, senior vice president for Nokia Networks broadband
systems group.

Ilmarinen.

P.S. The happy message at the very end of the 2 hour debate
on swedish TV on the lay offs was that Nokia was investing
in that very same area (the swedish (much like the baywatch)
dream of Nokia taking over the local business)

P.P.S. Ericsson will do just fine after a suitable crises,
been there, done that, before (with some help from
this side of this bay, the AXE system)
