Today, in applying for satellite provisions for high speed access to a new corporate office (cable tv and inet access as a backup) we went through a whole spiel about the benefits, speed, expediency and ease of install, yadum, yadi, yado, yadum, yado.

Upon concluding the call we were notified that we'd need to fill out an application form that included contract terms that they would fax to us, and we'd then have to fax it back. With a quiver in his voice [I could see the guy cowering through the phone line] the agent apologetically notified us that due to the way their automated fax system was set up it might take 24 hours for us to receive the form...
