stockwatch.com - i use stockwatch as it is the best affordable canadian service, for realtime on Toronto [but not the cdnx], i pay about 65Cdn/mo including taxes, roughly 500US/annum ... they have several levels of service, including level II and NY/Amex i see, but i've never tried them and don't know anyone who has ... this is probably not useful to you except for purposes of comparison.

Usually i drop the TO realtime option over the summer, that cuts the cost to 22-30Cdn/mo, depending on the number of 2-cent realtime quotes ... this way i keep access to the bulletins and insider info etc, of which stockwatch has a lot, going back quite a few years ... some level of subscription is essential to playing canehjun imho.

[edit] - speaking of the great white north - i'd like to compliment Scott or whoever is responsible for replacing the Carlson Online fin-info urls into the quotes on the canadian stock threads, that was one thing from the days of the Dryers that i missed ... However, the tickers are entered wrong for the most part - they don't need a V dot in front or a dot TO following, that service assumes that a stock is canadian, you just enter the one-to-three-digit ticker directly.
