With the caveat that I don't know squat about waves, why wasn't wave 1 from March-May, wave 3 from September-January 2, and wave 5 from January 31 or so to the present? All three moves formed distinct upper trendlines separate from the other moves, and each was separated by a rally of more than three weeks, which made them countertrend rallies instead of consolidations.
