Richard, not to preempt P. Jones, I am assuming the theory he is referring to is based on the statements made by (1) Mr. Bramson at the St. Francis in SFO at the last annual meeting...where in answer to an older lady's question as to AXC being "an investment she should make".. he obliquely made a passing reference that the stock could go to "zero" or into the 30's...that it was speculative...and that if it did go into the 30's it would become very exciting (axciting)....At the same time (2) on the Yhoo message board there was a guessing "contest" as to the upper objective of AXC....and one prescient Yahooligan had a target of $40 per share...Altho I was not there, I was "torqued" that our chairman would make light of the stock going to "zero"...and now his "statement of the year" has almost been realized. Hence the "Zero to 40" theory (no, it has nothing to do w/the new Chevy Corvette).

Someone suggests that St. Jude might now intervene and take us at least part of the way.
