ww2 history... the russo-german war in particular... it's like an avocation to me.... started playing wargames at age 12 (26 years ago). eventually got to playing this detailed game called 'squad leader.' learned all about various vehicles and machineguns and antitank guns in a firefight environment... the rulebook for advanced squad leader (asl) was like 300 pages of 8.5 x 11 fine print. i still pull out the asl rulebook and compare (where currently applicable) to what battlefront is doing with combat mission. they call us old time wargamers, 'grognards.' andy
