OT silly rant: "IMHO" and "IMO". Give me a break! First of all, IMHO, "in my humble opinion," is nutty: if you were truly humble then you wouldn't even state it publicly. Humble? Maybe it's just me, but I have never read or heard a humble opinion. An opinion is an opinion. Humble doesn't pass a simple test: would you say "in my humble opinion..." to someone in an actual live conversation? Of course not... Secondly, IMO. This is superfluous. If you write it, then it is clearly your opinion unless you ascribe it to someone else. There is no particular reason this minor rant belongs on this thread, but I just wanted to vent...
