<< AMD's execution has been nearly perfect. >> What have they executed on that has been nearly perfect? They didn't come anywhere near hitting their 1.5 ghz in Jan that they promised. They didn't hit the 1B operating profits they promised. Integrated and DDR chipsets were both 1Q late. Mustang was cancled. Laptops and SMP are both 2Qs late already, and could be a year late before we're done. What has been executed well on? They've managed to do the bare minimum to remain competitive over the past year.
