It's not law yet, is it? Last time I looked they were still arguing about everything. Shouldn't apply retroactively to cases filed before it became effective, though.

I don't usually do bankruptcies, but share office space with a guy who specializes in them. He says he doesn't like the proposed new law, it will cause a lot of headaches.

Maybe with the economic turndown they will reconsider.
