Paul,

I think what the press release means is that the FDA will not allow PRLN to market products targeted to AIDS and Cancer patients unless they are first proven effective as drugs. However, I thought we had already cleared the air on this. Just don't label the products as treatments for AIDS or prostrate cancer. So why cancel launch? The fact is, PRLN doesn't have enough clinical data to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that AndroVir and AndroCar ARE effective as drugs. I don't believe the FDA is offering an opinion one way or another as to their effectiveness. They are simply saying- if you want to market these as treatments of specific diseases- then prove to us they work through the appropriate clinical trials and submit an NDA. What I don't understand is 1) why no mention of the possibility of selling these overseas?, 2) What other near term use does Rhodes have in mind for these extracts and 3)Why not market these as dietary supplements for the general population adn forget targeting AIDS and Cancer patients? As usual, the press release was less than fullfilling and said nothing concrete about what they plan to do next. All the bad news is out you say? You've said that before. No- not ALL the bad news is out. The next step is to close the doors permanently and I don't see an positive signs to tell it ain't so. I won't sell now because it's not worth selling when everyone else is. I'll wait a little longer and see if there's a trading rebound. However, unless they get a partner with deep pockets fast, I don't see any future at all any more. Get realistic. You need 100's of millions of dollars and several years of clinical data to get an NDA approved. They haven't got it.
