You are, of course, presuming to know the big picture, and thus to be in a position to judge if your characterization is the final word. The religious think that they are not in a position to judge, and do not know the final word. Even those who think that God has told them important things acknowledge that for the most part they see "as through a glass, darkly". We are like children contemplating grown up actions, only the gap is infinitely greater. We say how we would run things, as if we were in a position to know all that goes into specific decisions. Then we criticize or reject God because His perspective differs from ours, like a five year old threatening to run away.......
