I am in a position to witness, and draw conclusions from, what human beings say and how they behave. I am in a position to detect logical inconsistencies. Being a member of the species, I have equipment that helps me understand much about other members of it. <<We are like children contemplating grown up actions>> I would say you are more like abused children with a drive to fantasize their abusers as loving parents. The Stockholm syndrome also comes to mind. I don't know if this is what you are doing, but the idea of describing the "actions" of the Biblical Yahweh as "grown up" is absolutely off the wall. Shall I list some of His "grown up" actions? I'll just mention having bears kill 42 kids for teasing a bald guy. (II Kings, 2:23-24)
