The economy sucks, therefore sell QCOM.

Rick - I think PALM sucks, therefore sell QCOM definitely has some validity in the current market (i.e., the short-term). Why shouldn't cell phone sales slip, just like PDA's have, in a softening economy?

Plus you have the Korean news that will definitely affect handset sales in Korea in QCOM's Q3. I remember only too well how many of us (me included) ignored the impact on QCOM of the end of the Korean handset subsidy last June.

One positive is that QCOM made reference to slow sales in Korea until July, so maybe they factored the current news in. All I know is that in the near-term, I am nervous for the stock price.
