Joe, re: Intels options Well my expectation is that they will kill off celerons. PIII's are same die. So they offer PIII's with 133 Mhz bus to counter the Duron which they can then compete with very effectively. The key is 0.13 micron. Intel has several 0.13 fabs ramping as we speak. I have no idea what their speeds/yields will be like etc will be. If they do well AMD gets in a world of hurt. If they do poorly AMD will be king in Q3/Q4 this year. I know Intel is throwing billions on their 0.13 ramp. But money isn't everything. If they fix the PIV's and they do have SMT and Mhz improves and they yield well and fabs ramp to capacity they will do well. Fortunately for AMD, Intel has to do 3-4 things well concurrently over next 3-4 months to kick AMD's ass. regards, Kash
