OT OT (Because I can't stand following today's market and need a distraction) NY Times reported last week that the Democrats raised more soft money than the Republicans. Campaign finance is coming. Personally, I prefer the British system of limiting campaign time. Four wks. is plenty. After that, it is redundant and expensive I fear religion-based charities getting federal aid. My tax dollars will be supporting the Moonies, the Chasids, the Cosmowhatevers, and the Rosecrutions. We will find brand-new religions. Maybe I'll start my own; the buy-and-hold for the afterlife cult. Finally, I absolutely see it as critical to support the option of family planning in 3rd world countries, if that's what they want. fred PS Tito -- glad to see you're still around.
