As the supply of automobiles never seems to dwindle, a good opportunity exists for developing new applications for chips in autos. Do away with blind spots caused by rear view and side mirrors. Mounted camera lenses would be more effective. Possible software would give a green light (on the rearview screen) when you are clear to pull over. Of course you could not rely strictly on the green light. I am certain there are many other apps that people could dream up.
