Spire aside, the only other independent publicly traded company I know of in this space is direct competitor Evergreen Solar (ESLR). It went public a while ago and is likely suffering lock-up expiration blues. Their technology may be competitive, I don't know. Of the two, APWR is the one company that has a P/E ratio, and a substantial first mover advantage. How much the latter means is debatable, as the market is wide open and fragmented. Dips into the 20s seem to be good buying opportunities for APWR, but Yogi's the technician here.
