Frog, I really don't understand your fascination with shorting MSFT. There are literally thousands of stocks that have performed worse recently. MSFT is clearly outperforming the market. Shorting a stock that has relative strength seems like a bad bet, especially when you're just guessing to begin with. A few examples of year 2001 performance are as follows:

MSFT + 30%

Nasdaq - 26%
QQQ - 31%
ORCL - 50%
SUNW - 43%
NT - 59%
JDSU - 56%
CIEN - 40%
ARBA - 80%

And you're shorting MSFT?
