I don't mean this as sarcasm, but merely an observation that may be wrong.

In the 60s and 70s, the 'loud mouths' tended to gravitate to the Left. It was the place to be; righteous indignation was readily available with the events of the day.

Since about the mid-80s, the 'loud mouths' have tended to move to the Right. Sure, there are exceptions, but there always are.

I'm not talking about the usual people on both sides who engage in dedicated, productive discussion. I'm talking about the ones who make their living with yelling and screaming illogic that fans the masses (our buddy Rush, for one).

The pendulum does swing...
