I remember when Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden were trying to peddle "economic democracy". They informed their disciples never to mention the "S" word - socialism - which it was. That was about the same time that Fonda said if Americans knew what communism really was they would get down on their hands and knees and pray for it. "Economic democracy" and all its iterations never work because economic decisions to be efficient must be impartial - directed by the market. That's the opposite of what they want. CA shows what happens when government perverts the market - people get hurt.
