JC, re: popular media The popular media are clueless. As are most of the techie web-sites (yours included). We all know that for 80%++ of all PC home and biz that a 700Mhz celeron is fine. A much better value is the cheapest CPU you can buy with the best graphics card, Disk drive, memory etc you need. Yet billions of dollars are at stake based on the fact that the consumers are buying into the Mhz BS. regards, Kash
