Cobie, what about "loss of chance"...couldn't they expand the damages on the theory that the price would have zoomed skyward (like every other fiber optic IPO released since the 1999) had it not been for the unfortunate timing about the companies finances. In other words, the buyers wandered into the casino in good faith, and put their money in the circles on the blackjack table, but the house had removed all the aces from the deck. Somehow they still broke even...but they lost the chance to get a blackjack. (Excuse the rambling, in view of today's excitement, I got into the Strategic Tequila Reserve a bit earlier than usual today...)
