I think the point of the McCain-Feingold was to limit BOTH major parties. The problem is not Demo vs Rep, it is Big X vs Little Guy. One of the reasons I admire McCain (and wish I had a chance to cast a presidential vote for him) is EXACTLY his pushing for this reform, despite the growing opposition from both established parties. Kevin its all BS. There is a 2 party system that has only 1 goal and it is the preservation of power. The Libertarian party and all others are shut out. McCain wouldnt even try to change that. Makes for a good sound byte that's all. Gets him in the paper makes him sound like he is for the little guy.
