FundPilot Beta Release!
I have replaced the Charting link with Beta Charts at fundpilot.com
WARNING: This chart engine is provided for BETA TESTERS ONLY, and is NOT released for trading purposes. Data feeds are still being qualified, and web version results are under verification.
Beta Testers should enter comments at fundpilot.com
Please read the following:
1. The chart displays the fund NAV on the top portion, and the % gain or loss for both FundPilot and Buy-and-Hold on the bottom portion, as well as last signal date.
2. The charts do not display the blue triangles for entry and blue ‘X’ for exit signals. Those will be added shortly.
3. Although you can input US and Canadian stock, indices, SPDRs, HOLDRs, WEBs, Qubes and other financial instruments, the system is not designed for anything other than mutual funds.
4. The chart only displays one year of data. The data feed problem appears to be from the vendor’s incorrect calculation of distributions in prior years. As soon as that is resolved, the system will display several years of signals.
5. I have not looked at all 13,000 funds. That is what I am looking to the beta testers to do. Fund NAV data prior to year 2000 distributions are a known miscalculation. There will be other problems discovered and I need you to tell me about them.
6. Because there are over 500 testers, in 35 countries, using every possible browser and version, I expect to get a lot of questions. Please be patient if you would like a response.
7. Use of the beta version means you have read, understand and agree to the disclaimer posted at fundpilot.com
8. Charts are created on-demand, and there should be enough horsepower to provide 1000 charts a minute. However, things happen, so email me if it fails and provide the symbol and time of day you were using the system.
9. The old charting engine can still be found on the Resources page, or at fundpilot.com
10. Last, I do not employ cookies, require a login, or capture any data about users. Please feel free to give these link to anyone you wish. My only request is that they register for the free Newsletter and FundPilot updates. After all, its free!
