Also from Briefing tonight: Ariba (ARBA) 8 1/4 -1 13/16: JP Morgan feels that the sharp decline in ARBA shares since negotiating the Agile Software (AGIL) acquisition puts the deal at risk. The shareholder vote has been moved back to mid-late May and each company will now report stand-alone qtr results. While not sure if AGIL shareholders could gather enough votes to block the merger or if companies will renegotiate terms, leverage is shifting towards AGIL... Firm also stating that it sees risk to ARBA's March qtr.
