Hi Irvin, thanks for the info. This was a presentation on June 4, last Wednesday. If I remember correctly, TI's stock went down Wednesday and Thursday, so the market and investors are really not impressed about those repeatedly "vision" kind of talk. The same story was just repeated too many times. As for comparing with microprocessor, Intel is making $8-10/share, and TI's projected earning is about $5/share if they can meet it. With lat quarter's earning of $0.7/share and this quarter's projected earning of $0.87/share, I sincerely doubt that TI will make $5/share this year. Anybody asked him about how comfortable is he with the earning projection ? Do not forget DRAM is still 40% of TI's revenue, and DRAM has been weak. I just hope that TI will not come out with a pre-announcement. I already coverd most of my shorts with a small profit, and I really do not care one way or the other. It is just interesting to see who's analysis of the company and its stock is correct.
