Carolyn! The title of this forum is WAR. A little agreement goes a long way here :-) And now, more about those pesky French.....

I am disturbed greatly with this plan to form a Euro Force (surely there is an official name for it).

The French are becoming quite shrill on this score and one of their generals or field marshals or whatever was pretty blunt in suggesting a few days ago that the Yanks buzz off.

The new military organization, it seems, will be free of adult (in the context of history, the "child peacemaker" might be more more appropriate) supervision.

And, yet.....the plan is for NATO to remain - no doubt to bail the Euro Force out or simply as a usual suspect if things go awry and blame is required.

Hate to say it but - here we go again.....

Perhaps the Euros would have sent a peacekeeping force to oversee legitimate elections in Austria, last time around?
