Francis Yuen explains impact of 'negative shareholder equity' Deputy chairman of PCCW Francis Yuen said the reported 'negative shareholder equity' in its final results is a commonly used term by multinational corporations that was added when PCCW merged with HKT last year. He said the item has not brought any significant impact on the group. He added that the priorty for the company now is to improve the EBITDA. He also declined to comment why chairman Richard Li did not appear in person for the results. He also said the company had made a statement about the chairman's description and will not give further comments. (End)
