In addition to Shrub's annoyance with the EU on the environment, he is really p*ssed that the EU is going to meddle in Korea. He thinks the EU should follow his lead on relations between East and West Korea.

The Europeans have not tried to hide their disappointment with his election. I am sure this in part fuels his antagonism towards them. I think allied relations may be strained over the next few years.
