Good points and valid from what I gather. I imagine it is as another poster said and more of a way to bring to the public eye what has been going on. When I show people at work each day the liquidity injections, they are shocked. Now just imagine if they also were able to see the daily shorting of gold the same way we see the announcements on repos and coupon passes. I am no legal eagle but it does disturb me the Fed gets directly involved in various markets from time to time, especially when I am short and the PPT shows up. Good Luck, Lee
