I think chic makes a good point Poet. I would agree overall with what he said, but I would disagree with a few things.

Calling Luc a guru is pretty silly imho. CFZ does not follow Luc's recommendations and, for that matter, beyond uttering his famous "Tomorrow we melt...", he hardly recommends anything.

The CFZ and the porch are not the two faces of perma-investors. The porch is clearly permabull and the CFZ is a mixture of bears and swing traders. Do people really think that heinz, me, Earlie, patron, oldirtybastard, Bobcor, chic, (the list is long) will fight the trend for long going the other way? I think not.

It appears that the porch will always be looking up. They confuse good lessons about the quality of life with being long stocks. They should not be related in any way.

Like I said, I think chic makes some great points, but I think he gets off the rails a bit when contrasting the bullish porch with a bearish CFZ.
